Il y a trop peu d’oeuvres solo pour tuba basse. Pour cette raison Edrich Siebert (pseudonyme de Stanley Smith-Masters), compositeur anglais bien connu et chef d’orchestre renommé, écrivait cet oeuvre gratifiant en caractéristique ‘The Bombastic Bombardon’.
